Plastics Assembler/Operator (Full-Time) 3rd Shift

As an Assembler/Operator with Augustine Plastics, Inc. (API), you will play a key role in the assembly and production operation of plastic parts and components for a wide array of industries including Aerospace & Defense, Energy, Medical, Water/Wastewater Treatment, and more. The Assembler/Operator will work 3rd shift, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Monday to Friday with shift differnetial pay.  Entry-level position with training provided. Responsibilities/Duties:

• Follow written Work Instructions to perform operations at injection molding machine.
• Perform handling, packaging, and labeling functions to complete finished goods.
• Use hand tools and air tools to process and complete finished goods.
• Visually inspect parts to ensure that they meet quality standards.
• Prepare quality documentation as required.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Excellent communications skills
• Basic mathematics skills
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Frequently sit, stand, walk, bend, and occasionally lift or move up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior manufacturing work preferred, but not required

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalency (GED) required
• No experience necessary, training provided

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 8-hour shift
• 3rd shift, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM
• Overtime as needed
• May include an ocassional weekend day to meet production

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Somerset, PA 15501: Reliably commute, or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
