ADM and API’s Commitment to Quality

Our Quality Policy

Augustine Die & Mold, Inc., (ADM) and Augustine Plastics, Inc. (API) are committed to achieving Customer, Regulatory, and Statutory Requirements and customer satisfaction through continuous improvement and on-time delivery of innovative, cost-effective products and services of the highest quality and reliability.

Our Quality Approach

Our internal ISO 9001:2015 and AS9001:2016 Rev. D Quality Management System (QMS), maintained by our experienced Quality Team, is a very robust system that we use to measure and monitor all processes of the organization.  Our Quality Team, led by a Certified Lead Auditor/Quality Systems Manager with over 40 years of experience in Quality Systems, and several qualified Internal Auditors, consists of core individuals from all areas of the organization that include ownership, management, administration, quality, engineering, operations, and production.

We integrate Quality Assurance into all processes to ensure that the final product is built to exact specifications.  Everyone at ADM and API upholds the commitment to quality and has the responsibility to meet or exceed the quality requirements for all products and processes, whether a highly experienced employee or a new employee receiving on-the-job training.  We put the highest level of quality into every part.

Through continuous improvement to our QMS and to overall business, our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction is evident in all that we do.

Our Quality Equipment and Tools

We strictly maintain manufacturing equipment including injection molding presses, CNC equipment, EDM technology equipment, mills, lathes, and all auxiliary equipment to be reliable and repeatable.

Our sophisticated quality labs are equipped with the necessary tools to ensure that customers receive the quality product they require.

Our metrology instrumentation is maintained, managed, and calibrated in accordance with our QMS as well as the QMS of the AS9100 and ISO 9001  Directives.

To assure customers that they will receive high-precision parts, we use the state-of-the-art Mitutoyo CRYSTA-Apex S7106 CNC Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), which senses discrete points on the surface of a part with a mechanical, optical, laser, or white-light probe.

In addition to moving the probe along the X, Y, and Z axes, our CMM also allows the probe angle to be controlled to allow measurement of surfaces that would otherwise be unreachable.
