Comprehensive Benefits Package

As a full-time employee, you will be eligible to receive our comprehensive benefits package that is designed to protect your personal and financial health and to make the most of your future.

Paid Time Off (PTO) Program

We offer a PTO Program that appreciates with your increasing years of service, and lets you choose how to use your earned time off, whether for vacation, personal or family illness, medical appointments, inclement weather, school, volunteerism, and other activities of your choice.   

Paid Holidays

In addition to PTO, we observe the following nine paid holidays per calendar year.  When a holiday falls on a Saturday, it will be observed on the preceding Friday.  When a holiday falls on a Sunday, it will be observed on the following Monday.

Medical and Vision Insurance

You and any qualified dependents are eligible to participate in our comprehensive medical and vision plans administered by UPMC.  You can choose from our Employee Only, Employee/Spouse, Employee/Children, or Family coverage, all with competitive rates paid through payroll deduction over 26 pay periods.  Our plans also have competitive copays and prescription plans.  And with the proper paperwork, we will reimburse 50% of your annual deductible.  

Dental Insurance

You and any qualified dependents are eligible to participate in our comprehensive dental plans administered by Guardian®. You can choose from our Employee Only, Employee/Spouse, Employee/Children, or Family coverage, all with competitive rates paid through payroll deduction over 26 pay periods, plus our monthly contribution. This plan also has a low deductible. (Employees who pay for a dental plan through Guardian are eligible for the College Tuition Benefit Program.)

Supplemental Insurance

You and any qualified dependents are eligible for a wide range of supplemental insurance policies through Aflac®, which pay cash benefits for a policyholder’s covered accident or illness. The premium for each policy that you select is paid through payroll deduction over 26 pay periods. Aflac policies include Accident Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, Short-Term Disability Insurance, Cancer Insurance, Critical Illness Insurance, Hospital Insurance, and Life Insurance.

401(k) Retirement Savings Plan

We offer a company 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan administered through MassMutual® to aid you in future financial security. Employee contributions are made through payroll deductions with options of Pre-Tax 401(k) deferral and/or Roth 401(k) deferral. When you make salary deferrals to either or both plans, you are also eligible for our Safe Harbor Matching contribution of 100% of salary deferrals that do not exceed 2% of your compensation, plus 50% of salary deferrals that exceed 2% of your compensation, but do not exceed 6% of your compensation.  

Annual Attendance Bonus

Based on a point system, we reward eligible employees for their commitment to regular attendance with a Holiday bonus at the end of the year. Many employees tell us that they use this bonus for extra Holiday shopping.

New-Hire Referral Bonuses

As an employee, you have the opportunity to refer people who you think will make a great part of our team. And upon each successful hire’s completion of his/her probationary period, you will receive a bonus as a monetary token of our appreciation.

Dependent College Tuition Benefit Program

You can earn valuable reward points that can help you pay for your qualified dependent’s college tuition—through a purchased qualifying line of coverage by Guardian®. We offer Guardian Dental. How the College Tuition Benefit Program works: Every reward point equals $1 off the cost of full tuition. You’ll earn 2,000 points annually, when you elect and pay for Guardian Dental through ADM or API. Every student on your account will start with 500 reward points. The Tuition Reward points, provided by SAGE CTB, LLC, can be used at over 400+ four-year colleges and universities across the U.S. in the SAGE network. Plus, Guardian Dental members earn an extra 2,500 points after the fourth year. (Students must be registered by the member by August 31 of the year when the student begins 12th grade, which is also the last date for pledging earned Tuition Rewards to a student.)

Life Insurance

We make available an employee-funded optional life insurance plan through Guardian with premiums paid through payroll deduction over 26 pay periods.

Wellness Center Membership, Corporate Discount

You can receive a personalized wellness program according to your goals, fitness level, medical conditioning, and ability through a Somerset Hospital Wellness Center membership at our discounted annual corporate rate. Somerset Hospital Wellness Center offers the “medical fitness difference,” which means that their professionals have the knowledge to design programs for individuals with arthritis, back pain, musculoskeletal injuries, diabetes, joint pain, and many other conditions.
